Our experience with Jettly was just great
Our experience with Jettly was just great. We had a HondaJet which is a great little aircraft that is perfect for a small family or group. Our two pilots were just terrific. We had three children onboard and they let each of them "fly" the plane. They had a wonderful experience that they will never forget. Everything went very smoothly with the booking process and Anna was very accommodating when we changed our arrival FBO a few times. I would definitely recommend Jettly to anyone looking to book a charter flight. I would especially recommend the HondaJet for a group of four or five.

The pilots were amazing and did a great job and very professional and very happy with the service. Related to them and the flight. However I ordered catering that was not on the plane. We had great flights both legs (12/27 and 1/2)
Good morning! We had great flights both legs (12/27 and 1/2). Our pilot and co pilot were both wonderful and super accommodating and professional. The airports we flew from were great too, no issues. Only small thing is on the 1/2 flight the bathroom on the plane was out of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels and there were not extras that we could find. About halfway through the flight my son reported that the toilet was no longer flushing. It was not a big deal since we were close enough to home, but that probably needs attention and to make sure things are restocked and working before the next person flies. Thanks!

See my feedback, below… How was the flight overall? Outstanding How was the operator and pilot? The pilot and crew were first class and professional. Did the aircraft meet your expectations? Yes How was the booking process and experience working with our flight success team and were there any areas we could improve? Overall, this was fine, but this is where I have some feedback. Bear in mind, my comments are from the perspective of a first-time charter customer. And while I am fortunate to have the financial means to use a charter, having grown up in a household without a lot of money, it is still not easy to spend $90k for a single trip. Nevertheless, given the current situation with Covid, limited commercial flights, traveling with a pet, etc., a charter flight definitely solved a lot of challenges for our move to Europe. In that context, here are my comments. First, when I actually went for firm quotes, I was disappointed that all the quotes were at least 25% higher than the estimates. Also, while there was a firm quote within 24 hours, it did seem it took a follow up email to get multiple quotes. Ultimately, just as I was ready to book a particular quote (a mid-sized jet requiring a fuel stop), I received a quote for not much more, for a much larger and longer range aircraft (which I suspect may have needed to get to Europe anyway, hence the better price). Second, while the Jettly team was exceptionally responsive, there is room to improve accuracy. By this, I’m referring to the fact that after I had booked, I received a request to urgently Docusign a document that upon inspection was for travel into Malta. When I asked about it, I was then told to disregard as it was for someone else’s trip (I then had to follow up again to stop the automated daily reminders to execute the document). The next issue was that a few days before travel, I received an email outlining the pet import requirements; all of which we were aware of except for one: that the cat needed an exam 48 hours prior to travel. We had never seen such a requirement, and I was quite sure this requirement was only for pets traveling without the owner, or commercial import of animals. I responded as such and asked the operator to double check this requirement. In took them until the following day to confirm that my understanding was correct, but in the meantime (better safe than sorry), I had spent 2 hours calling every vet within an hour of my home to see where we could get the cat checked by a vet within 48 hours of flying. I had been able to get a vet appt, which I then had to cancel the following day when the handler confirmed that was not required. That issue was somewhat understandable, given the complexity of international pet transport requirements. The last issue was that again, a few days before travel, I was asked to Docusign a form for entry into Dublin. Again, when I inquired, I was told to disregard, as that was intended for another flight. Those events just created a bit of unnecessary stress on top of the already stressful situation of closing on our house, getting movers in, and relocating to Europe. In the end, it all worked out fine however. Would you recommend us to a friend? Yes Do you plan to use Jettly in the future? To the limited extent that I plan to charter in the future, I would definitely consider Jettly again. Best regards, Chris
